Relive means to experience something again in your imagination. That experience can be a positive one or a negative one.
But in this question we refer to physically living a certain day again, going through the experiences or sensations you felt that day.
Notice how the last part of the question has the conditional would…
If you could relive one day of your life, which day would it be and why?
So the start of your answer would also have would in it.
Answer: I would relive (the day / the event) ….
For example:
- I would relive my wedding.
- I would relive my 21st birthday.
